Buffy Johnson serves as Wilson Law, P.A.’s Litigation Manager, taking responsibility for the day-to-day work on all cases. Her duties as she assists the lawyers include frequent communication with clients, obtaining medical records and reviewing them, preparing documents for cases, and working with clients to ensure that they are prepared for mediation, depositions, or trial. She also works very closely with all of our clients, reviewing each of their files to ensure that each and every financial hardship they suffer as a result of their accident is taken into account.
Our firm has a wide variety of technological advances which Buffy utilizes to their fullest extent. Whenever possible, all correspondences with clients, medical providers, opposing parties, and more are sent electronically to minimize client cost. All of the information we have for our clients is kept on a secure, cloud-based program which gives our attorneys rapid access to the answers clients need from anywhere in the world.
Buffy works hard to maintain an open and engaged relationship with all of her clients, encouraging them to reach out to her whenever they have questions. She feels that her role is to keep clients informed and to help them navigate the highly nuanced legal world, to ensure that they fully understand their claim and the possibilities that lie ahead. This is a responsibility the she takes very seriously, and client care is her primary focus at all times. Buffy believes that each and every client is a member of our family and wastes no time in taking on client problems as if it were her own. She makes herself available to assist clients at all times to answer questions and keep them updated as to the progress of their case.
Buffy is proud to have been born and raised in Eastern North Carolina. She takes family very seriously, as did her parents before her: Buffy’s father grew up on the family tobacco farm, proudly serving his country in the Vietnam War, then making his eventual living in the textile industry. Meanwhile, her mother grew up in Wilson, North Carolina and dedicated her time to a career in customer service for businesses of various sizes throughout the Eastern North Carolina area.
Buffy and her husband Eddie welcomed their first child, their son Jaxon, in July of 2013 and together they, along with their dog Brinks, live in Farmville.
Buffy has over two decades of experience in medical malpractice and personal injury cases. For over 15 years, she has concentrated on mass tort and pharmaceutical litigation, including handling hundreds of personal injury, liability, and malpractice cases as a paralegal. She has successfully assisted lawyers in recovering compensation from many large companies, including Fortune 500, truck, insurance, gas, and pharmaceutical companies, as well as numerous medical facilities.
