Attorney Kimberly Wilson White Appointed to 3M Combat Earplug MDL Leadership Team

Multi-district litigation (MDL) cases are exceptionally complex, and require the skilled guidance of a qualified leadership team in order to proceed. That’s why we’re happy to announce that our managing shareholder, Attorney Kimberly Wilson White, was just appointed to the MDL leadership team for defective 3M Combat Earplugs.

Chosen by federal court Judge M. Casey Rodgers, Ms. White was selected out of nearly 200 qualified attorney applicants. As a well-respected Raleigh personal injury lawyer, Ms. White was the only North Carolina lawyer appointed to a leadership position; and, one of approximately 50 lawyers appointed leadership in this high-stakes litigation.

Because Fort Bragg is the largest active military base in the world – and North Carolina has one of the largest military footprints in the country – it was important for the Court to appoint a lawyer from North Carolina to assist with leading this crucial litigation against 3M. Given Ms. White’s experience with other high-profile product liability cases; and, her educational background in law and public health, she is well situated on the Science & Expert Committee.

Serving Veterans and Active Military Members in North Carolina

Because the 3M Company failed to inform the U.S. military about defects in their Dual-Ended Combat Arms Earplugs, many veterans who served between 2003 and 2015 have suffered permanent tinnitus and hearing loss. As a result, thousands of military members across the country have now filed lawsuits against the 3M Company, to hold them accountable for their conduct.

At Wilson Law, P.A., we support our troops, and value the extraordinary sacrifices that these men and women make every single day. On a personal level, Ms. White believes that representing service members in this crucial litigation is the highest honor in her nearly 25-year legal career. As she takes her place on the leadership team, Ms. White will remain committed to helping her clients, and all other affected victims, recover the compensation they deserve.

If you’re suffered injuries from 3M Combat Earplugs as an active-duty military member, contact Wilson Law, P.A. today at (919) 800-0919 for a free consultation.
